The owner of Wheelmaxx Auto Shop was inside the store with several customers when a loud boom was heard on Blackstone Avenue. As I listened, there was a huge crashing sound. I looked to the left and there was the motorbike,” said store owner Mohammad Almghrabi. Almghrabi said he opened the door to see the motorcycle on fire and rushed to help. “They stop the car here, and we can’t let anyone leave the area or enter the store,” Almghrabi said. “They stop the car here, and they’re starting to run out to see what’s going on.”

The incident happened around 9am on Monday when a black car chased the motorbike. Moments before the accident, witnesses report that the driver pulled out a gun.

“The fire was quickly brought under control. The vehicle does not appear to have caught fire, but it came to a stop after the collision,” Fresno Police Officer Felipe Uribe said. An ambulance transported the motorcyclist to hospital, but he later died of his injuries. Currently, investigators are trying to determine if the accident was intentional or if the drivers knew each other.
